MUHLIS AKARSU - Asik Olan Durmaz Aglar & Aglam Gulum

I finally found albums by this amazing Alevi Sufi Asik(Asokh). You get two albums of which one is a compilation. Enjoy Akarsus Saz and great voice. I dedicate this to the memory of Pir Sultan Abdal and to Alevi sufis in general.

ALEVI DERVISHES - An esoteric Sufi ceremony - Prayer in the praise of the God and the Prophets

Here you have a very rare and interesting piece. A Alevi dervish ceremony with Saz and singing. The Alevi Sufis are very special and derserve more attention. If this catches your fancy check out other Alevi Saz musicans like Muhlis Akarsu, start with Youtube and while at it see the great Alevi Dervish film about Pir Sultan Abdal. Google video has it in it entirety. Thanks to my friend (who wants to remain unknown) who gave me this.
