Roop Verma - Live in Berwaldhallen Stockholm Sweden

Yes some great Indian classical sitar by a underrated master Roop Verma. This album has been a personal favorite of mine for a decade now. I usally listen to it after work in the evening. It has similar qualities as Nikhil banerjee. This Live concert contains following Ragas: Raga Mishra Kirwani, Raga Manjh Khamaj and 2 Dhuns. Exellent music which I wholeheartedly recommend.

Prasad Bhandarkar-Ragas & Dhuns on Bansuri - Indian Bamboo flute

Prasad Bhandarkar's Bansuri (Indian Bamboo flute) is among the best classical Indian music this side of Hariprasad Chauraisa. Hear Bhandarkar's Raga Shivranjani for sheer spirtual depth and quality. Prasad Bhandarkar is schooled by Hariprasad Chauraisa and a disciple of the late Pandit Nikhil Banerjee(!) named Chatterjee. That should really say it all. Enjoy these recordings and may they enlighten you.

Here you have a very rare compilation with Afghan classical and folk music. The piece here of extra interest is Ustad Mohammad Omar's Rag Bairavi which is identical to the one played by Essa Kassimi. If you loved that you must here this other one as well. Please share this rare music so it doesn't disappear. This is dedicated to the long suffering people of Afghanistan.

Peter Brook - Metings with Remarkable men film 1978

This is the 1978 film based on Gurdjieff's book Meetings with remarkable men. You get a torrent link so that you can download this film yourself. Those of you interested in esoteric ideas and Sufism will appreciate this film. I'm confident you will get the DVD after seing this. You need a small program called Bittorrent to download torrents such as this and a good deal of patience. Blessed by the living memory of G.I Gurdjieff.
