NIKHIL BANNERJEE - Raga Charukeshi

It's time for another great recording by Nikhil Banerjee. This Raga has been a personal favorite awhile now and I thought it deserves to be heard by more people. I hope you all enjoy it and feel free to share your views.

The artwork is confusing, "Master of the Sitar" (1986) contains 3 short peices

A Raga Nat-Bhairab 23:20
B1 Tabla - Solo (Teental) 12:32
B2 Baul Melody (Folk Tunes) 12:09

but it looks like "Raga Charukeshi" has been superimposed on this cover, an album it's not from. What's going on here? Where's this raga really from?

Healing music can take many forms. It could be a wood flute, the rhythm of a hand crafted drum or even the wind blowing through the pines. The power of music can lift the spiritual soul spiritual music
